What you need to make these tailored trousers

• Fabric of your choice
• min. 18 cm long zipper of your choice (My recommendation: non-separating Nylon coil zipper, 3-5mm, can be shorten later on)
• 50 cm fusible interlining to strengthen stress points (zipper fly tabs and waistband)
• Optional: lining for the pockets
• Button matching your fabric (size of your choice)
• New universal sewing needles
• Thread matching your fabric
• Fabric Scissors, fabric pins, iron

Suggested Fabrics

You can use different fabrics for the pants, depending on the look you want to achieve. My recommendation: use a lightweight woven fabric, which presses well such as light linen/viscose mix, light cotton or polyester fabrics. If you want to achieve a tailored trousers look, a fine cotton twill (optionally with a slight stretch) or linen fabric is ideal. Remember to wash your fabric before sewing.
