Hi,
I’m Maria, pattern designer & Blogger, living in Dubai. Make It Yours – The Label is a creative studio with a sustainable approach to fashion: Buy less and make what you can! I show you how to design and make your own clothes with sewing projects for sewing beginners, contemporary sewing patterns and thrifting & Upcycling ideas.
I have always loved to design and make my own clothes and my mission is to share my passion with likeminded creatives.
Make It Yours – The Label Sewing Patterns
To create my own sewing pattern label started because I wanted to create patterns for women to make clothes they feel absolutely comfortable in. Additionally i always want to make sure to provide patterns for clothes that fit perfectly, but don’t have the typical handmade look. It’s my mission to help women feel comfortable in their own skin and to enjoy the clothes they wear and make.

Make It Yours – The Label Illustrations
Besides creating digital sewing patterns I love to draw and experiment with colors, shapes and textures. I design individual digital Illustrations and graphics for Websites, Social Media or personal use such as wall art and interior design.
I draw each illustration / graphic individually what makes them absolutely unique.
