DIY Crop Top / Bustier: free Sewing Pattern and YouTube Sewing Tutorial
Sewing summer clothes is my favourite kind of sewing. I recently made this cute summer Crop Top and created a free sewing pattern for you to copy this look.
The Crop Top is super versatile and easy to wear. Personally I love to combine the Top Pattern with some of my loungewear sewing patterns such as my new yoga pants, knit pants or the Boho Top. This way you can create quick and easy DIY Yoga or Home Office Outfits. For the colder month I love wearing the Crop Top as a Bustier under Cardigans and Sweater.

Sewing Tutorial Bustier / Crop Top: Materials, Size Chart, Fabric Consumption and free Sewing Pattern as Printable
Material
- Sewing Pattern incl. YouTube Video Tutorial
- Fabric of choice: Jersey, e.g. Cotton Jersey
- Jersey Sewing Needles
- Optional: Twin Needle for the hem
- Fabric scissors, fabric needles, iron , yarn matching the fabric Garn
Free Crop Top Sewing Pattern Download:
- DIN A4 Sewing Pattern: First print the page with the test square (5x5cm) and check if your printer settings are correct. Make sure to always open the pattern in Adobe Reader, as problems may occur when printing from the browser window. Always make sure to print in real size and turn off the automatic page adjustment.
- DIN A0: The A0 file size is the sewing pattern in real size format Drag the file onto a USB stick and print it out directly in the copy shop of your choice. This eliminates the need for cutting and gluing the pattern. Printing a pattern on thin paper in black and white costs between 6.00 and 7.00 EUR.

Fabric Consumption
This is a quick and easy pattern, which doesn’t require a lot of fabric. That makes it a great sewing project for fabric scraps.

How about some matching (jersey) pants?
The Crop Top matches perfectly with my other Lounge Wear Sewing Patterns, e.g. my “Yoga Pants”. The two Patterns together make a great Home Wear / Loungewear Set to wear at Home / Home Office or to the Gym.
