Lingerie Bodysuit & casual Bodysuit – Fabrics
Depending on which fabric you choose, you can create completely different looks: a DIY festival outfit for the summer, the everyday Jersey look or rather the feminine lace version.
I recommend to always sew the bottom part with an elastic material containing at least 5% spandex. You can be creative when choosing the fabric for the top.
Stretchy fabrics like:
- Jersey, for example 95% cotton /viscose
and 5% spandex, perfect for the everyday look - viscose
- lace (Festival/ Boho-Look), e.g. Polyester/ Polyamid and Net fabrics, for example 80% polyamide and 20% spandex. So you are defin itely on the safe side when it comes to the fit!
On my Pinterest Channel I collected some beautiful lace fabrics by indie Etsy shops. - Stretch fabric for swimwear (especially for the lower part), for example 80% polyamide and 20% spandex
- Polyester, for example 95% polyester and 5% spandex
